Vol.188

June 16, 2026

June 1 - June 7, 2026

1. Auctions sales statistics

The volume of cars at auctions has rebounded and returned to its earlier levels, ensuring a dependable supply of vehicles. Despite this temporary dip, there have been no significant disruptions in vehicle availability. Both auctions have consistently maintained a flow of cars, contributing to seamless operations and a stable inventory for buyers.
Performance metrics, including the number of cars sold and approval ratings, have not only weathered the minor reduction in car volume but are also showing signs of improvement and growth.
In summary, insurance auto auctions provide a stable and consistent environment, with evidence of car volume returning to previous levels. Operations continue to run smoothly, and key performance indicators are not only stable but also showing positive growth trends.

2. Car of the week

My personal pick of the week!

2018 McLaren 570S

Final bid: $85,500 USD

The 2018 McLaren 570S Spider brings open-air thrill to the Sports Series lineup, featuring a lightweight, power-folding hardtop that retracts in just 15 seconds without compromising the car's structural stiffness. Built around a rigid carbon-fiber MonoCell II chassis, it retains the razor-sharp handling, signature dihedral doors, and track-ready dynamics of its coupe sibling while offering an adjustable rear glass window to let the V8 exhaust note flood the cabin.

3. The most interesting lots

The best cars this week that deserve your attention

2024 Nissan GT-R

Final bid: $105,500 USD

The 2024 Nissan GT-R Premium introduces a visual and aerodynamic refresh featuring redesigned front and rear fascias that increase downforce while maintaining its sleek 0.26 Cd drag coefficient. Beneath the skin, it retains its iconic, hand-assembled 3.8L twin-turbo V6 engine making 565 horsepower and 467 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission and the legendary ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive system.

2024 BMW XM

Final bid: $76,250 USD

The 2024 BMW XM is a flagship high-performance luxury SUV featuring a plug-in hybrid powertrain that pairs a 4.4L twin-turbo V8 engine with an integrated electric motor. Its polarizing, aggressively chiseled exterior design gives way to an ultra-premium cabin outfitted with a dramatic "three-dimensional" sculptural headliner, a 14.9-inch Curved Display, and up to 30 miles of pure electric driving range.

2025 BMW M2

Final bid: $37,500 USD

The 2025 BMW M2 receives a notable performance bump, lifting its 3.0L twin-turbo inline-six engine to 473 horsepower sent exclusively to the rear wheels. It remains a purist's favorite by offering a standard 6-speed manual transmission alongside an optional 8-speed automatic, delivering a 0-60 mph sprint in as little as 3.9 seconds.

5. Cars with the most bids

Cars that have the most bids are the ones that are most popular among buyers and have the most competition for purchase. It's important to note that just because a car has many bids, it doesn't necessarily mean it's the best deal or in the best condition. It's always important to thoroughly inspect the vehicle and do research on its history before making a bid.
